I am writing to inquire about a special elephant named Penny. I lived in Ulysses from ages 3-8. I am presently 51, and have special memories of my mother and dad taking me to see Penny at the zoo. I had planned on making a trip back to visit where I spent some of my childhood, and would love to see Penny if she is still with us. I have lived most of my life in the Beaumont, Texas area.
